  The Man Who Loved Couch Dancing is a feature length visual/auditory hallucination directed by musician/shape-shifter Ron Franklin. The garage rock guru Jeffrey Evans (Gibson Bros., '68 Comeback, South Filthy) is the anchor that holds the audience close to the film's busom, while at the same time keeping them from escaping this world of partially solid spiritualisms and rock induced emotional spasms.   This Must Be My Lucky Day is an art thesis conceived and directed by Tommy Foster. Two days on a boat with a bunch of plastic horses (and lots of strange looks from the rest of the good ol' boys in fishing boats) in Horseshoe Lake in southeast Arkansas. It has gone on to exhibit at the Ice Factory in Chicago, IL, the Asheville Museum of Art, the Whitebox Gallery in New York City and ArtBasel in Dreispritz, Switzerland. It also won an Excellence in Filmmaking award at Indie Memphis in '05 and Best of the Battle at the Ice Capades Battle of the Cities Film Festival (Chicago, IL).
